International Cooking YR4 - 6

9 countries in 9 weeks! Some examples of what we will cook are rice paper rolls (Vietnam), scones jam and cream (English) and Sushi (Japan). We will make a combination of sweet and savoury dishes, alternating them each week. At the start of each lesson, I will introduce the country and speak about the dish we are going to make.

Below is a list of dishes I plan to offer:

  • Anzac biscuits (Australia and New Zealand)
  • Vietnamese spring rolls (Vietnam); Note: Vegetarian option
  • Scones with jam and cream (United Kingdom)
  • Spanakopita- (Greece). These are Vegetarian.
  • Portuguese custard tarts (Portugal)
  • Sushi (Japan); Note: vegetarian option
  • Pepparkakor (Scandinavia)
  • Pizza (Italy) Note; vegetarian option
