Kapittel 42.

Chapter 42. Partial coverage of tuition fees for students in upper secondary education at foreign or international schools

§ 42-1. Scholarship for partial coverage of tuition fees for upper secondary education at foreign or international schools

For higher education at foreign or international schools in Norway or abroad, a grant is granted for partial coverage of tuition fees when the applicant is entitled to upper secondary education pursuant to § 3-1 of the Education Act. The grant will be awarded with 85 per cent of the tuition fees. The maximum grant for 2018-2019 is NOK 93 140 per academic year.

Grants are awarded only for tuition fees that the applicant actually pays. The grant will be reduced when grants for tuition fees from others result in total support for tuition fees exceeding the amount the applicant has to pay in tuition fees.
