Our Campus
Spaces to learn, create and connect
Every part of our campus has been designed to support learning, wellbeing and community. Across two buildings, students benefit from modern classrooms, science labs, a library, innovation space, study areas, and versatile sports and multi-purpose halls.
The Library
The OIS Library is a 300-square-metre space at the heart of the school, with an up-to-date collection of more than 15,000 books and a wide range of online resources. It is staffed by a full-time Librarian and Teacher Librarian, who support students, staff and parents.
Students can search, borrow, reserve and renew books independently online. The library includes dedicated areas for research and collaboration, fiction and non-fiction collections for different age groups, comfortable reading spaces, and an inspiring young readers' area with a Norse mythology theme, featuring a large fabric tree and crawl-in reading pods.

The Innovation Space
Located beside the Library, the Innovation Space is a flexible learning environment where students turn ideas into reality through creativity, design and problem-solving.
Equipped with technologies including laser cutters, vinyl cutters and 3D printers, the space supports learning across a range of subjects. Students design, prototype and create, applying technology and design skills to real-world challenges and collaborative projects.
The Cube
Located within the Innovation Space, The Cube is OIS's dedicated recording studio and sound suite. It provides students with a professional environment for podcasting, audio production and digital storytelling.
Using industry-standard recording equipment, students record podcasts, produce audio content and collaborate on creative projects while developing media, communication and technical skills.
We are positioning our students for success in this technology-driven world. The Innovation Space allows them to apply their knowledge in tangible and practical ways.

Sports & Multi-Purpose Halls
Our spacious sports hall, complete with a balcony viewing gallery, provides an excellent setting for PE lessons, sports fixtures, tournaments and other school events.
Alongside it, our versatile multi-purpose hall can be quickly adapted for concerts, assemblies, performances and community events, with retractable seating and a large projection screen creating a flexible space for gatherings of all kinds.
Outdoor Recreation Areas
Students enjoy a variety of outdoor spaces for play, sport and socialising, including two large playgrounds and two inner courtyards at the heart of the campus.
Our youngest learners have a dedicated Early Years play area with age-appropriate equipment, including tricycles, a sandpit and playhouses that encourage imaginative and active play.
Students also have access to a nearby artificial-turf football pitch, which is sometimes used for PE lessons. A large public park within easy walking distance of the school provides additional space for outdoor learning, sports and whole-school activities.
