Throughout the year, we celebrate a range of special days, and host events such as proms, pep rallies, and graduation ceremonies. These celebrations not only bring our community together but provide opportunities to learn about different cultures, customs and norms. We love to celebrate all that makes us diverse, united and unique!
United Nations Day
United Nations Day is a wonderful annual celebration that involves the whole of our school. On this day, we come together as a community to honour the principles and values of the United Nations, and to recognise the organisation's efforts to promote peace, justice, and development around the world.
Our United Nations Day celebrations typically include a variety of activities and events that are designed to educate and engage students, including guest speakers, cultural performances, and interactive workshops. These events provide students with the opportunity to learn about different cultures and perspectives, and to gain a deeper understanding of the important work of the United Nations.
Our community loves United Nations Day.

Norway's National Day
17 May, also known as Norway's National Day, is a significant event that we celebrate every year. On this day, we come together as a community to honour the country's constitution and celebrate its rich culture and history.
Our 17 May celebrations typically include a variety of activities and events that are designed to educate and engage students. This usually includes traditional Norwegian dances and music performances, parades, and shared culinary delights. These events provide students with the opportunity to learn about Norwegian customs and traditions, and to gain a deeper understanding of the country's history and culture.
Santa Lucia
Santa Lucia is a popular tradition celebrated in Norway on 13 December, which is dedicated to Saint Lucia, a martyr from Sicily. The celebration is particularly important in the Scandinavian countries and is marked by a special ceremony in which children dress in white robes with a crown of candles and lead a procession through the school. This procession is accompanied by traditional songs and carols, which are sung in honour of Saint Lucia.
Graduation
Graduation marks the end of a journey with us and the beginning of a new chapter in our students' lives. It is a day to celebrate their academic achievements, personal growth, and contributions, and to congratulate them for having worked hard to achieve the rigorous standards set by the IB Diploma Programme.
The ceremony is a formal event attended by students, staff, parents, and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diversity of our student body, and show how our school has helped students to learn and grow in a diverse and multicultural environment.
Graduation is a special and important event at our school, marking the end of an era as our senior students prepare to spread their wings.
