Science & Innovation

Science and innovation encourage students to explore, question and understand the world around them. As well as dedicated science and computer labs, OIS has an exciting makerspace with state-of-the-art facilities.

Language & Literacy

Language underpins every aspect of learning, helping students communicate with confidence and engage with the world around them.  

The Arts

Through visual arts, music and drama, students develop creativity, technical skills and confidence while exploring different ideas, cultures and forms of expression.

Service Learning
& Global Citizenship

Our Service Learning and Global Studies programmes encourage students to explore the issues shaping our world today while taking meaningful action within their local and wider communities.

Educational Trips

Learning extends beyond the classroom at OIS. Throughout their time at school, students take part in a carefully planned programme of residential trips and outdoor experiences that support personal growth, strengthen friendships and bring learning to life.

Fitness & Sport

Our dedicated coaches and P.E. teachers run a comprehensive sports programme aimed at building physical fitness, self-esteem and valuable life skills.

Ultimately, our goal is to equip students with the knowledge, skills and character to navigate the world with confidence and make a positive difference wherever life takes them.
